Selling Bras and Bake Sales
It's hard to believe that two years have passed since I started Barola!
Today I spoke with a well known industry magazine employee about bras. His timing (yes "his") was very timely and has prompted me to return to my blog.
Selling Bras
I recall the fear of going to one of my first events to get public reaction to our bras before we launched. Many people stopped by the booth and gave positive comments about the look of our bra, then it started..."Can I try one on?" That is all it took to sell our Bras at that first event and it continues today. Once you put one on you'll understand that women were involved in every detail of our design and selection of materials.
Do you know who designed your bra or where it was made? Do you know what types of chemicals are used to make your bra that could be absorbed into your skin? Are you happy with the fit when fluctuation occurs? Do you want something better? Have you given up like I had in finding the perfect bra?
Enter The Bake Sale (my excuse for not blogging)
Call it Bake Sale / Holiday / Fundraiser / End of School year Recovery - It's time for me to get back to sharing stories about our bras. We made an amazing product that took lots of time, research and testing to get it right! I love hearing stories from our customers and retailers about women who had the option to buy a leading brand or ours and selected Barola. It's a very humbling experience.
While I have no doubt I will be that mother at the Bake Sale tying to keep it all together like in the video below from "I Don't Know How She Does It". I will make every effort to keep up with my blogs and tell you more about Barola.
Carpe Diem!
